I mixed networking with Branding Photography!

Branding Photography Beyond Headshots!

Yesterday I attended The Devon & Plymouth Chamber’s Networking Event at the beautiful Welbeck Manor & Golf , and took the opportunity to offer my fellow attendees an exclusive deal on updating their headshots!

Devon & Plymouth Chamber members and non-members enjoyed a pop-up headshots session, with an exclusive offer, at a beautiful setting within the Manor House!

Those who took up the offer received one web-ready image, in both colour and B&W copies, and I am absolutely delighted with the images I was able to capture even in such a short time.

The directional light gave the headshots a beautiful, three-dimensional, look which had depth and fabulous colours!

Welbeck Manor had some amazing spaces for photography, and I immediately knew I had to take my clients to this spot for their headshots.

The Manor House has been recently refurbished and made ready for the public.

It is tastefully decorated, and the bar and restaurant areas are absolutely beautiful!

There’s also a large conservatory with tables, and the doors open onto the stunning view to the golf course.

When we were there the sun was out and the weather was perfect, and there were lots of people enjoying a drink and food on the decked area.

We were also taken on a tour of the beautifully decorated bedrooms, including The Bridal Suite, and at that point I realised that I had found the perfect place to offer Boudoir Photo Shoots!

I currently offer studio Boudoir Photo Experiences, at Cornwall Portrait Photography and have always wanted to also offer location boudoir at a boutique hotel - and Welbeck Manor fits the bill, perfectly!

The Bridal Suite is beautifully decorated and perfect for a Boudoir & Bridal Boudoir Photo Shoot.

It Was a Fantastic, and Very Productive, Day!

My takeaways from the day were:

  1. Pop Up Studios are a great way to offer something that can quickly and conveniently help business owners to get their branding up-to-date;

  2. Networking can be a great way not only to meet and connect with other business owners, but it can also open unexpected doors!

  3. I am excited and very motivated to start a working relationship with a fantastic local business which fits in perfectly with the ethos of my studio.

If you run networking meetings, and would like to talk to me about offering a Pop Up Studio at your next event, get in touch!
